Dental examination & treatments

The health of the oral cavity has the most direct impact on a person's general state of health and productive quality of life.

Take care of your teeth on time

If the dental hygienist has recommended a visit to the dentist, the patient is examined, transilluminated and, if necessary, an X-ray examination is performed. As a result, it is possible to observe the anatomy of the tooth roots, see inflammatory processes in the bone, detect caries under tooth restorations and obtain other results.

The examination gives an idea of the condition of the patient's teeth, which, if necessary, facilitates the preparation of a treatment plan. The health of the oral cavity has the most direct impact on a person's general state of health and productive quality of life. Poor general dental condition, gum disease or tooth loss permanently affects a person's ability to take in and grind food, smile and speak.

Dental caries

Dental caries is also known as tooth decay or hole. Caries is one of the most common diseases that can be faced by a person of any age who has at least one tooth. Tooth decay can occur even with the first tooth, and if left unchecked, it can develop and progress throughout the patient's life as long as the teeth are present. Bacteria accumulate in saliva, gums, and teeth. The causative agent of caries is a bacterium – Streptococcus mutans.

Caries-causing bacteria accumulate on the surface of the tooth, especially in cavities and fissures, on the surface of the gums, on bridges, and in plaque caused by food and elsewhere. The main raw material of this bacterium is carbohydrates, especially easily processed sugars. As a result of the bacteria breaking down the carbohydrates in food plaque, acid is released as an end product. As a result of long-term exposure, the acid breaks down the calcium and phosphates in the tooth structure, and a tooth cavity forms.

Aesthetic sealing and bite lifting

Modern technologies make it possible to restore, preserve and prevent many dental defects, such as cracks, pigmentation or splitting. Aesthetic dentistry allows you to change the appearance of your teeth by improving their color, length or shape, which is often the result of teeth grinding or bruxism, as well as age-related tooth wear. Bite lifting helps to restore the shape of the teeth to their original height, thus improving not only jaw functions, but also facial appearance.

Important notice

Caries treatment can be a quick and easy process, until the moment when the damage has reached a large volume or even a nerve. Healthy teeth are a smile for a beautiful world!
